Favorite products Summer ‘22

Updated: Aug 2, 2022

Every once in a while, I discover some new amazing products. And I want to bring those discoveries to you as well.

Klorane Mango Dry Hair Shampoo

After giving birth, my hair changed quite a lot. From oily it went straight to dry- and the longer it was getting the dryer it was.

I was recommended Klorane some time ago, the hair loss products, so with that recommendation in mind, when I found their “Very Dry Hair Shampoo”, I decided to give it a try.

I used one bottle and my hair was so much better and I decided to continue with their “Dry Hair Shampoo”. It is made with mango, which gives a nice scent to the hair without being too strong.

We are Paradoxx Hair Mask Repair Game Changer

A couple of months ago, I got a gift box from Lookfantastic, and in there, together with the next favorite, was this hair mask. A lot of other masks that I tried left my hair oily, but this made my hair soft, shiny, looking healthy and easy to comb.

All of these made me want to buy it again. I use it on the length of my hair, avoiding the roots and I am very happy with the results.

Vita Liberata Gradual Tanning Lotion

This was a Goodiebox Denmark find. I started with a sample and now I am at my second bottle. It looks like any lotion, and you apply it very easily, no tanning mit necessary. One layer for natural looking tan, one more layer to look like you have been on holiday.

It is gradual, so do not make the same mistake I did. I applied one layer and saw a very small difference so I quickly applied another layer on my face. On the first day I looked orange. On the second day, it looked really good. This is what I am using now on my face to get even skin all over.

Sukin Detoxifing Scrub

My dry skin has been with me since a couple of years ago and it has been getting worse since giving birth. I always used scrubs but never took the time to look into one for my type of skin.

Well, I can say that I am in love with this one. Leaves my face soft and radiant without looking dry. Sadly, at the moment, is not yet available in Denmark, but when it is I will be the first to get it.

Respire Natural Deodorant

I got it before our holiday from Sephora as I needed a mini deodorant. And well, it did a really good job. I got a mini that lasted maybe 3 weeks, so I will give the normal sized one a try.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation

I have been searching for a foundation for dry skin for quite some time and every time this was the first one on any list. Due to not being in any store in Aarhus, I never went for it. I found it quite difficult to guess my shade and maybe get it wrong with a pricy foundation.

But, I searched for a Facebook Group for makeup, and asked if anyone uses both Estée Lauder (in my shade) and Armani. Someone told me their Armani shade and it was a perfect match!

I use Estée Lauder in shade 2N1 and Giorgio Armani number 5.

Cerave smoothing cream

I have Keratosis Pilaris and during my research Cerave always came up as a way to help with KP symptoms. This lotion is the best for my dry skin. With any other by next day my skin would be dry again, but with this it keeps moisturized even 2 days. My second jar of it and for sure it will be more.

If interested in other KP products, leave a comment and will make a separate post about it.

L’ Oréal Paradise Mascara

I have two all time favorite mascaras and this is one of them. I use the Paradise normal non-waterproof mascara every day and for our holiday I needed a waterproof one for the pool. And no matter how much water, the mascara was always there!

If you used any of these products leave a comment!💛
